One of Peugeot's latest innovations, the U select mechanism makes choosing your preferred grinding consistency easier. Strictly speaking it is not a grinding mechansim but a way of adjusting the grinding mechanism

Traditional Peugeot mills allow you to adjust your grinding consistency by tightening or loosening the top knob on the pepper mill or salt mill. This has to be set by you by trial and error.

The new U select mechanism has pre set markers on the bottom collar. Once you know which is your pre set market consistency of choice, you can go straight to it without any guess work.

• 3 pre set grinding levels for salt
• 6 pre set grinding levels for pepper

The U select was originally only available on the Peugeot Chateauneuf Pepper mills and Salt mills, and the Elis Electric Salt and Pepper mills. It has just recently been introduced on the ever popular Peugeot Paris mills and on the new, up and coming Bandol mills. All are available through us. The Paris U selects are available as an alternative product next to the traditional Paris mills
