You have so many pepper mills but we are buying a present for a keen amateur chef. Is there one that you would strongly recommend as the best ? We prefer non electric we think.
thanks Gavin
Hi Gavin
I always wonder whether having such a large selection can be bewildering rather than helpful!!
The best range in my view is the PEUGEOT. We have never had a problem on quality with them and although they are the most expensive, they are the kind of mill that really look like quality when they arrive. The keen amateur chef will really notice the difference - basically in professional circles, PEUGEOT is the only name and brand. Every PEUGEOT mill has the same quality mechanism which is guaranteed for life so I couldn't say any one is better than another.
Our best sellers are:
Paris Chocolate:
Paris Natural:
Both Paris ranges are a very safe bet - traditional shape, traditional material and account for 50% of PEUGEOT sales just on their own!
Chateauneuf:
This mill has an extra "U" select mechanism that allows you to set the grind fineness/coarseness quickly at pre set markers. So in terms of mod cons this mill has all the best engineering
Fidji:
Very popular for its more modern style without being going over the top
Commercy:
Our most popular very contemporary mill.
Vittel:
The most popular acrylic.
If you want a wider choice, we have about 20 PEUGEOT pepper mills in total . Here is a link to the full range:
Don't hesitate to call if you want to discuss things!
To view all the PEUGEOT pepper mills, click on pepper mills and then click on the PEUGEOT brand filter at the top of the page.
To just view the products mentioned above, type their name into the general search box on our left hand navigation.
Best wishes
