Hi, yes, the William Bound Pawn Mills really can be used for salt or pepper. They have a ceramic grinder which can be used for standard peppercorns and dry salt crystals. So you could buy a black topped Pawn mill as a pepper grinder, and a white topped Pawn mill as a salt grinder. Here is the link:
