Can I use standard batteries on a Peugeot Rechargeable Elis Pepper Mill if I run out of rechargeable battery power?

Hi, I am sorry but you would not be able to use standard batteries on a Peugeot Rechargeable Elis Pepper Mill if it runs out of rechargeable battery power. I have checked with the UK importers and they are not interchangeable. The best thing to do is have to have 2 sets of rechargeable batteries. This is what we do. - there are some very cheap suppliers of batteries online.
